“There is something beautiful about a plain canvas, the nothingness of the beginning that is so simple. It’s the paint that changes it’s meaning and the hand, that creates the story. Every piece begins the same, but in the end are all uniquely different.” ~ Piper Payne
About the principle artist – the Wall Whisperer
Suzanne Coté obtained a Bachelors in Studio Art and Communications at Oneonta State University. After travel in Europe, a re-emerging first passion for art and aesthetics compelled her to return to school for Interior Design in Denver.
She rediscovered the pure gratification of putting color on walls in artistic ways. With brushes in hand she went on to study a broad range of decorative painting techniques at The School of Applied Arts and continues to seek out novel methods and to find inspiration through travel and private study with leading artists and craftsmen in North America and Europe.
Suzanne loves to travel and started an import business for home accessories and furnishings in the early 90’s. She is inspired by the great craftsmen of any country or city she visits but is in love with the front range. Her mission is to leave every space she works on more beautiful.
Suzanne lives in Boulder where she enjoys the great outdoors.

“If I ever had to leave my place, even if I had to move 10 times, Suzanne would have to come and transform each place for me. She does beautiful work!”
“Instead of the empty shell of a space that once was my foyer, now, when I enter my home, I can’t believe the feeling of warmth and comfort that surrounds me.”
